I had known about this 1957 Chevrolet for many years and when I was finally able to get the car a full restoration was started. The suspension parts, motor, fuel injection unit, transmission, rear end, fuel lines, gas tank and electrical wiring were rebuilt or replaced. New sway bars front and rear and Bilstien Shocks were installed. The car was completely disassembled and strip to bare metal. The frame and underbody were cleaned and re-painted. The body was painted with base coat and many coats of clear. Then many hours of color sanding and rubbing and polishing. New date coded glass, stainless, chrome, new rubber seals and new interior where installed. All of the gauges have been cleaned and rebuilt. The car has new correct size radial tires.
All of the restoration was done by the former owner of the Auto Shop. The Auto Shop, among many other awards also has won over 14 awards at Pebble Beach including 9 first in class awards. The Fuel injection was rebuilt by Gary Hodges of Oregon the interior by Stitches located in Washington and all of the mechanical was done by Ron Graham.
